Author: Jason Oliver

There are some pretty scary SeedSupreme reviews out there. Enough to have the average person wondering if SeedSupreme is even legit. If you have doubts about SeedSupreme, you’ve come to the right place to get the facts.

This review will cover every aspect of the SeedSupreme buying process- from the seed bank’s history and reputation to its shipping methods, sales, and seed quality. By the end of this review, you’ll be an expert in all that SeedSupreme has to offer.

See our recommendations at the bottom of this page!

Is SeedSupreme Legit?

Looking around at some of the online reviews, it’s easy to wonder whether SeedSupreme is a legit company or a scam. Fortunately, SeedSupreme is not a scam. It’s a legit company, and even though there are a lot of negative SeedSupreme reviews, there are a lot more satisfied customers with no complaints. SeedSupreme is a pretty popular online seed bank, so they’re bound to have a few negative reviews out there somewhere. After all, the more orders there are, the more complaints there will be also.

The important thing is that their customer service team actively tries to respond to negative reviews and correct any problems with orders. That’s a good sign and something that a pure scam company definitely wouldn’t take the time to do.

The SeedSupreme Reputation

SeedSupreme has a bit of a mixed reputation. It seems like they face scam accusations every other week, but they’re actually not a scam. That doesn’t mean that they’re a great place to buy seeds from, but that will be discussed in more detail a bit later.

Let’s take a look at some of the common complaints that many negative reviews share. A lot of the negative reviews mention things like poor genetics, unsatisfactory customer service responses, and broken or crushed seeds, which is usually the result of customs, to be fair, but there are still things that SeedSupreme can do to minimize the chances of seeds being crushed in transit.

A few negative reviews of SeedSupreme also mention things like seeds not being fresh, low germination rates, seeds being cheap clones of the strains they’re advertised as, and one person even said that they got male plants growing from what was supposed to be feminized seeds. Needless to say, that should never happen!

So, while SeedSupreme is not a complete scam, they may not be the best choice if you want to best seeds for the money. SeedSupreme is a legit business, but it’s not the best of the best. There will be a list of better alternatives at the bottom of this review, so skip straight there if you’re impatient to place an order!

History of SeedSupreme

SeedSupreme has been in business for 5+ years now, and actually their reputation has gotten better over time. Back in 2015 through until 2018, they had a much higher percentage of negative reviews than they do now, and they weren’t really doing too much to remedy customer’s complaints.

In the last year or so, SeedSupreme has really been making an effort to up their customer service game, and as a result, their negative reviews have gone down as a percentage of total orders, and the ones that are still there are a lot less severe. That’s a good sign for any business that’s trying to turn things around.

The fact that SeedSupreme is so clearly trying to improve their offering and customer service over time proves that they are really legit. No scam company would put in the effort to improve their business so much after several years. They’d probably just start a new seed bank under a new name and start scamming people all over again- maybe even some of the same people that got sucked into their scam the first time around. SeedSupreme isn’t doing that because they’re a legit seed bank.

Seed Selection at SeedSupreme

Like many seed banks and resellers out there, SeedSupreme has a vast selection of seeds that are sourced from many different seed breeders. Some of the most popular breeders that they source their seeds from include: Nirvana Seeds, Sensi Seeds, DNA Genetics, Barney’s Farm, Royal Queen Seeds, TGA Subcool, Greenhouse Seeds, Cali Genetics, Mephisto Genetics, and many more.

There are a lot of strains and breeders to sort through, but it’s made much easier by the handy collections and categories SeedSupreme offers. Visitors to the website can search for seeds by breeder, by strain, seed type, or with different categories like medicinal strains by symptoms and conditions, beginner-friendly strains, high CBD strains, highest THC strains, concentrate strains, kush strains, skunk strains, hash strains, landrace strains, and others.

SeedSupreme Seed Quality

The quality of SeedSupreme seeds honestly leaves a lot to be desired. They face all of the normal problems that seed resellers face, like diminished seed freshness which ultimately has customers paying more money for worse quality seeds.

Many of the negative reviews of SeedSupreme seeds on various forums mention the lackluster quality of the seeds- at least many of those who did actually receive the seeds that they ordered. There are tons of complaints about seeds not sprouting, but there are also a few unique complaints that stood out. Keep in mind that each of these reviews is only mentioned once and take them with a grain of salt. Still, it’s worth knowing about these potential issues before placing an order!

Male Seeds in What Was Supposed to Be Auto Fem

One reviewer wrote that they were very disappointed in the quality of the seeds that they ordered from SeedSupreme. Of the 4 seeds that the reviewer ordered, two were duds that didn’t sprout at all, and two were actually male plants! Keep in mind that these were supposed to be auto fem seeds, so there should be no chance of them coming up male.

Obviously, those seeds were useless to this grower, and when they told SeedSupreme customer service about the problems with the order, they didn’t offer a solution. In the end, this reviewer felt like SeedSupreme had just taken their money and didn’t care what the end result was, either in terms of seed quality or even customer satisfaction. They were disappointed that SeedSupreme claims to stand behind their products and customers, but don’t show it in actions. In essence, SeedSupreme “talks the talk” but they don’t “walk the walk” which is disappointing.

It’s clear from this review that SeedSupreme has lost a customer permanently and actually made a very vocal anti-evangelist for their brand by the way they’ve handled this issue. Unfortunately for them, this customer is a member of a group of dispensers (who have all now been warned to stay away from SeedSupreme.) They even go so far as to warn everyone reading not to ever buy seeds from SeedSupreme!

Dubious Genetic Origins

Another customer wanted to be absolutely sure that he was getting the exact seeds he ordered, and not just a cheap clone. Probably, he had read some reviews that mentioned that as an issue! Or possibly he’s always cautious about that sort of thing.

To make sure that the seeds in his order were the proper strain from the proper seed breeder, he requested that the seeds be sent in their original, sealed packaging that they arrive in direct from the breeder. That’s not what happened. The seeds arrived in a plain ziplock bag, so their precise origin is a matter of trust, though it’s hard to trust a seed bank that can’t comply with a simple request like that.

Now, SeedSupreme mentions on its website that anyone can request that seeds be removed from their original packaging at a customer’s request, to enable a more stealthy shipping process. They also say that seeds may be removed at their discretion for no additional cost to the customer. This policy doesn’t necessarily imply that they’ll honor requests for seeds to remain in their original packaging, but this reviewer feels that any legit seed bank should be willing to send seeds in breeders packs when asked to do so.

Customer Service at SeedSupreme

As mentioned before, SeedSupreme staff has been making more of an effort in recent years to address negative reviews on forums and try to remedy situations that they find. Unfortunately, they don’t always offer a solution that the customer finds equitable.

It’s common for customer service to give out a small amount of Kush Money to try and smooth over any issues, but in many cases, it’s worth so little that the offer actually ends up adding insult to injury for an already annoyed customer.

One reviewer mentioned that their account was credited with “Kush Money” which is SeedSupreme’s loyalty reward currency that can be redeemed on certain SeedSupreme purchases. They were given 1000 units of Kush Money, which at the time was equivalent to about $6, far less than they had spent on their order. Needless to say, the customer wasn’t entirely satisfied with that arrangement. In another instance, they offered $4 worth of Kush Money on a $50 order that was seized by customs in Chicago. That customer wasn’t satisfied either.

It seems like SeedSupreme customer service is maybe trying to give the appearance of being helpful and responsive without actually offering good solutions to their dissatisfied customers. The remedies they do offer are largely worthless to the customer and as cheap an option as possible on SeedSupreme’s side.

SeedSupreme also seems to have a standardized response to the many complaints it gets about seed germination rates. That form letter looks something like this:

As you probably know if you’ve read any of our other reviews of seed resellers, the middleman can be very much responsible for the inevitable decrease in seed quality that comes from this business model. SeedSupreme seems to be trying to pass the blame onto more well-known and respected seed breeders for bad genetics, when in reality, the poor germination rates are most likely the result of a combination of decreased freshness, improper storage conditions outside of approved temperature and humidity ranges, and possibly even false advertising of swapping cheap clones for more expensive, genuine and high-quality strains.

In short, SeedSupreme customer service seems to be more focused on saving face on public forums than actually providing high-quality customer service. They seem to favor offering amends that are the least costly for the company rather than a good value for the customer. Most of the time, they end up just annoying already disgruntled customers by offering a paltry, mostly worthless consolation prize when they’ve had a genuine issue with their order.

Customer service at SeedSupreme seems to just be public damage control rather than genuine problem-solving.

SeedSupreme Sales, Discounts, and Promotions

There are plenty of sales, discounts, and promotions on offer at any one time over at SeedSupreme seeds. There are even plenty of free seed offers that are ongoing. With any order, you can expect to earn free seeds added to your order at the following intervals:

  • Spending under £50 will earn you 2 free seeds
  • Spending over £50 but under £100 will earn you 4 free seeds
  • Spending over £100 but under £150 will earn you 6 free seeds
  • Spending over £150 but under £200 will earn you 8 free seeds
  • Spending any amount over £200 will earn you a total of 10 free seeds

From time to time, SeedSupreme even runs a “Double your free seeds” promotion where all the free seed amounts above are doubled. During those times, you can earn up to 20 free seeds on a £200+ order. Of course, to spend that much at SeedSupreme, you’d need to have quite a lot of confidence in both their delivery methods and seed quality! That definitely wouldn’t be the time to skip out on guaranteed delivery.

Bitcoin Discount

As far as other sales and discounts go, SeedSupreme has been known to offer a discount of as much as 25% just for paying in Bitcoin, which is seen as a win-win situation for many cannabis seed buyers.

They also have a sale section on their website where all of the latest sale items are regularly updated, so if you’re looking for a great deal, be sure to check back there often.

Kush Money

Another thing to consider when it comes to discounts is SeedSupreme’s loyalty currency, Kush Money. These are credits that you earn on every order you place at SeedSupreme through your registered account. You can earn Kush Money in a variety of different ways.

For starters, you’ll get 500 points just for signing up. Ordering seeds will earn 5 points for every £1 spent. Referring friends into the program will accrue 30 points when they sign up and then 5% of all their purchases, forever. Signing up for the SeedSupreme newsletter is worth 100 points, and posting a strain review is worth double that, though they have to be accepted in order to earn points. There aren’t any guidelines posted on what will be accepted and what will not be accepted, but 2 reviews per day is the upper limit. 500 Kush Money points will be delivered to you on your birthday if you let SupremeSeeds know when that is, and you can also earn 50 points by tagging strains up to 3 times per day.

It all seems to add up pretty quickly, but the exchange rate is fairly low, so don’t get too excited. Every 200 Kush Money points can be redeemed for £1 on an order.

The Kush Money Catch

Even though the SeedSupreme website says that Kush Money can be used for up to a 75% discount on your order, it must not mean any order, because when it was tested, many different methods were tried, but it never resulted in a discount of more than 25% and that’s without shipping costs included.

On top of that, Kush Money points expire 30 days after they are earned, so if one intended to use them all, one would have to place 4 orders within a month, getting no more than a 25% discount on each of them. In shipping charges alone you would quickly be spending far more than you saved.

It’s possible that the 75% number is reserved for really big orders that cost above a certain threshold. Or maybe the Kush Money system was just malfunctioning somehow that day. Either way, it’s extremely difficult to impossible to use this consolation prize Kush Money without investing substantially more money in a seed bank that’s already messed up at least one order, so that is not a good customer service solution. It ends up just leaving a worse taste in the customer’s mouth than if they had just apologized for the issue with the order and done nothing else.

Clearly, this program is heavily biased in favor of the company at the expense of the customer. Usually, one would expect to see more of a balance where both parties get about equal benefits.

Needless to say, getting a good deal on seeds doesn’t really matter as much if they never arrive or don’t germinate, so bear that in mind when placing an order. It’s easy to get swept up in the appeal of a sale, but it’s possible that you’ll actually end up losing money on poor quality or nonexistent seeds in the long run!

The SeedSupreme Website and Shopping Experience

The SeedSupreme is fairly well laid out and easy to shop. It doesn’t have the bright contrasting colors and flashing advertisements of some other seed banks, which is a relief for the eyes.

Strains are divided up into intuitive categories like feminized, regular, autoflower, medicinal, and landrace. Of course, you can also search by seed breeder, strain type, or use the search bar to get to exactly what you want.

One cool thing SeedSupreme does in its navigation bar that not a lot of other seed banks do is allowing visitors to search medical strains by symptoms or condition, and there is a hearty list. Just by hovering over the text, you can see that there are medical cannabis strains available to help treat ADHD, Alzheimers, arthritis, asthma, bipolar disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, gastrointestinal disorders, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, migraines, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, PTSD, and even PMS. Wow!

Shipping, Payment Options, and Return Policy at SeedSupreme

The good thing about SeedSupreme shipping options is that they will ship pretty much anywhere in the world. The bad thing is that the stealth methods they use are not that great. In fact, they’ve actually been fully revealed on several forums, but never updated by the company! Yes, SeedSupreme is still using the same tired “stealth” shipping method that was already revealed publicly years ago. They also reveal 4 separate stealth shipping methods that they regularly use, right on their own website! No wonder so many of their packages get seized by customs.

Another quirk of the system is that buying stealth shipping is not the same as buying guaranteed delivery insurance at SeedSupreme, so be sure not to get the two confused. You may be disappointed, as more than one unfortunate customer has already been.

SeedSupreme doesn’t specify when exactly most orders should arrive, but it does say that UK orders are generally shipped out within 2 to 4 business days, US orders are shipped from a distribution center within the country, and European and International orders may take anywhere between 5 and 35 business days to arrive.

Though you may not know exactly when to expect your package, the good news is that all orders include tracking information where available, so you’ll at least know if something has gone wrong along the way.

Stealth Shipping Complaints

The way that SeedSupreme does their stealth shipping leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, it’s one of the most common complaints people have about the company.

Many people feel that when they were placing their order at SeedSupreme, it wasn’t clear that the stealth shipping upcharge was not the same as the guaranteed delivery upcharge, and to have both you need to pay for both separately.

If the order isn’t protected by the guaranteed delivery offer, there will be no recourse if it gets caught in customs. The most that customer service will offer is a partial refund for the order in the form of Kush Money, which has several drawbacks as discussed in the last section. The amount of Kush Money is usually around 25% or less of the order total.

Confiscation is a common risk for any online cannabis seed bank, and not even the best can avoid it 100% of the time. Still, some have a better track record than others, and SeedSupreme is not at the top of the pack.

Another common issue with SeedSupreme’s stealth shipping methods is that they’re too good. It’s not uncommon for people to be confused when they first receive their order, thinking they’ve just been sent a random item and got scammed out of their seeds. The majority of these issues are solved by completely dismantling any stealth shipping item received because SeedSupreme is actually really good at hiding their seeds.

Too good, sometimes! If you received an item from SeedSupreme without any sort of confiscation notice, your seeds are in there, you probably just need to look a little bit closer. It’s not normal for SeedSupreme to send out items without seeds enclosed.

Payment Methods

Payment methods available at SeedSupreme include Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies or cash by mail. There is a domestic address where US-based customers can send their cash. Oddly, SeedSupreme doesn’t offer any more typical payment methods like credit card or PayPal.

Bitcoin is an encouraged payment method at SeedSupreme. They even provide several educational guides and videos showing the full process of how to buy Bitcoin and place your order on the website. The checkout page even has an integrated feature where you can create a Bitcoin wallet right then and there if you don’t already have one. Of course, you can also connect an existing Bitcoin wallet.

By the way things are set up over at SeedSupreme, they seem to strongly prefer to receive payment in Bitcoin, or at least another similar cryptocurrency.

Refunds and Replacements

To get a refund or a replacement, return any unwanted merchandise in its original condition and packaging to SeedSupreme within 14 days. They recommend marking the package as return to sender to get it back to them.

Shipping costs will only be refunded if the items were damaged or incorrect. Exchanges within the UK are free, and you will not be charged any additional postage costs. If you choose a lower priced item for your exchange, the difference will be credited back to you, and if the item you chose is higher in price, SeedSupreme will be in touch to collect the additional payment required.

Refunds should appear on the original method of payment within 14 to 30 days.

Our Final Review of SeedSupreme

SeedSupreme is a legit company that is trying at least a little bit to protect its reputation online. They seem to put in the minimum effort when it comes to things like customer service and stocking quality products, but in general they will send you the seeds that you ordered once they take your money. It’s not a total scam.

They may not care too much about customer satisfaction or seed quality, and are probably just in the business to make some money, but that seems to be the unfortunate attitude prevalent in many businesses today.

Some people still swear by SeedSupreme. Maybe they’ve just gotten extremely lucky, or maybe they’ve just never shopped anywhere else, but for those of you who are savvy enough to come here for a legit SeedSupreme review, you can definitely do better.

SeedSupreme doesn’t rank high enough on the list of online cannabis seed banks to merit a purchase. With so many great banks out there, there’s really no reason to ever risk your time or money on a gamble like SeedSupreme.

Better Alternatives

If you would rather buy from a seed shop that is passionate about great quality genetics and even better customer service, there are plenty of better alternatives out there. There are tons of seed banks and resellers that offer better quality seeds and customer service than SeedSupreme does, but if you want the absolute best of the best, head directly to the breeders.

Seed breeders take a huge amount of pride in their brand and deliver quality genetics time and time again because it’s their own name on the line if they don’t. Unlike shadier seed banks, they can’t pass the blame for subpar seeds along to anybody else. It’s a win-win buying directly from breeders because you get better quality seeds that are fresher, delivered quicker, and with a higher level of support from expert growers, all at a lower price! I purchased feminized seeds from seed supreme and ended up with a male plant.

Seedsupreme has terrible quality seeds, incredibly poor customer service. They have false advertising and argue with you! Stay away from this company. You’re better off finding seeds in a bag of weed. They’ll likely be better quality as well. Read all of the reviews, people aren’t lying about this garbage. The fact that I am googling places to leave reviews about them says a lot.

My husband who has grown plants in the past with no problem ordered from seed supreme. He is retired and on a fixed income, spent 100.00 for 10 afgany hash plants. It took forever to get and when they did, he planted them. He also recieved bubble gum and i believe wedding cake. Those were free. He did not plant them. At first he planted 5 afgany seeds. 1 came up. Then he planted the other 5 afgany seeds a week later. 1 game up. As they grew, seed supreme continuelly texting my husband. How they doing? They asked. He finally ansewered and havent heard from them since. So trying to fix the problem is bull. He just unplugged the light after 2 weeks of budding. Both male. Oh i didnt mention, they were 2 different kinds of plants. They didnt look anything like each other. On was light green, one was dark. One had big leaves one was small. One plant was a bush one was a twig. And they both were supposed to be afgany hash plants. We have grown them before. Neither of them were.

Good Morning,
It looks like I have another bad story about SeedSupreme. I had been ordering from them with reasonable success from what now allegedly appears to be another “fly by night” shitty ripoff seed company.

I purchased 16 Grandaddy Purple seeds from SeedSupreme late last year and have subsequently tried to germinate them all as follows:
I attempted to germinate the seeds in three (3) different ways over the course of several weeks:
– In soils directly
– In cup of ph neutral water
– In moistened paper towel

A total of sixteen (16) seeds were attempted, all resulting in zero germination.

This is highly unusual and made me suspect that a large number of these seeds may be duds. Typically I would expect at least some of the seeds would germinate.

Cannabis seeds, in my experience, have often been a “roll of the dice” with respect to seed quality, germination success and ultimately, an adult female plant. I’m usually satisfied if at least some of the seeds I purchase germinate. Unfortunately that was not the case here.

I attempted to develop some resolve with the company over the matter but they ultimately informed me that that would not be offering any type to t refund or replacement because of the time frame.

I guess their response, while not unexpected from unscrupulous cannabis seed companies, is consistent with what has been reported about SeedSupreme. Their guarantees appear worthless as are their seeds.

Don’t buy from this company!

Seed supreme is absolutely the worst I’ve ever dealt with in quality, germination rates, and absolute bottom of barrel in customer service. As you state, they push blame back to everyone but themselves, make excuses and if they do anything at all they simply give you 10-15% an order. But the measly discount is worthless if they simply send more small, pale, underdeveloped worthless garbage. Heck, half the time the discount codes don’t even work, then they try to blame that on you as well. Just absolute terrible service. Wish I had read all these reviews before getting involved with these chumps – 350.00 lesson learned the hard way

SeedSupreme is the worst seed supply I’ve ever dealt with. They are after your initial order and after they receive your cash they begin telling u all the reasons your seeds are duds. I’m telling you this first hand. I’m a new purchaser and have only dealt with 3 distributors. 2 of which were truly concerned I got the quantity and amount promised, plus sincere trust and appreciation of how my leap of trust was used.

My order filled promptly after jumping thru SeedSupremes hoops for their protection from prosecution. When I opened my order all of the seeds were damaged in some way, I don’t know how. They were all opened in some way, either with a hole bore in them or smashed just enough to ruin the chances of germination. When I informed them they sent there generic excuse which happens to be a perfect cover for them to send you unusable merchandise and use the excuse that these aren’t sent for Growing illegal plants and any talk of which is strictly against policy cause what they’re doing is illegal unless done right.

So they wouldn’t discuss any other options with me except. How stupid I was to use SeedSupreme because they stand behind that they a novelty company and do not promote seeds that germinate. Also we will not discuss this order with you ever again. If u want another order then we can discuss the reason that order doesn’t germinate. And it turns into a vicious circle. Email me, I have the facts. Buy anywhere but seeds supreme.
